About this directory

We catalogue every Discord community that has claimed a guild tag, so anyone can search the tag space, see what is already taken, and discover servers worth joining.

What this site does

Discord lets eligible communities claim a short guild tag — a badge of roughly one to four characters that members display next to their name. There is no official public list of which tags exist, so finding an unclaimed one, or tracing a tag back to its community, meant asking around and guessing.

This directory solves that. It indexes 27,557 servers that currently display a guild tag, covering 492.1M members in total. Every listing is searchable by tag, server name or guild ID, and each server has its own page with size, ranking and tag details.

Where the data comes from

Listings are compiled from publicly visible Discord server information — the server name, its public guild ID, its guild tag and badge, and its publicly reported member count. We also accept direct submissions from server owners through the add your server form on the homepage.

We do not collect private server content. No messages, channels, member lists, or any information behind an invite gate is read, stored or published. Everything shown here is data a server already exposes publicly.

How often it updates

The dataset is refreshed daily. New servers appear, member counts move, and tags that have been dropped or changed are reconciled on each pass. The exact timestamp of the most recent refresh is shown at the top of the directory so you can always tell how current the numbers are.

Member counts are snapshots from the moment of the last refresh, not live figures, so a very active server may have grown since it was recorded.

How we count tag length

Tag length is measured in visible characters rather than bytes, so a single emoji counts as one character even though it may be several bytes long. That keeps the length filters matching what you actually see on a badge. The current spread across the directory is:

Accuracy and corrections

We aim to keep listings correct, but this is an independent catalogue built from public data and mistakes do happen — a tag may be recorded before it changes, or a server may be listed under an old name. If you spot something wrong, tell us and we will fix it.

If you own a listed server and want it removed, we honour removal requests from verified owners. Reach us through the contact page.

Independence
